Military Audio/ Video Retrofit

This Military base wanted to integrate a PolycomViewStation 4000 videoconferencing system within the room using rear screen projection and ceiling mounted audio.  

Thanks to the Polycom Vortex audio conferencing mixer, ceiling mounted speakers and microphones allow all parties within the room to be heard clearly with the “head” of the table getting priority when they speak.

GIS was able to achieve an effective blend of both components by using a “hidden” rack system.

This unique installation allowed people at both ends of the conference to communicate with an almost “invisible technology, for natural discussions over vast distances.n this and other installations, automatic trackable cameras are mounted unobtrusively above the monitor.
