Military Conference Room - This multimedia room of a historic US Army military base is located in a building that is on the national register of Historic places and special care had to be used during the design and implementation process.

As shown below. we used a rack mounted Polycom ViewStation VS 4000, wall mounted Sony EVI-D100 camera, Shure microphones, a Polycom Vortex audio conferencing solution, Polycom Visual Concert FX, Extron XGA Switchers, Document Camera.

These components were then integrated with existing DVD players, CD Recorders, a tape deck, an existing PC with local display, speaker amplifier as well as projector and screen to create this solution. We have since been asked back to outfit additional rooms with AV equipment on that base. When the cabinet drawers were closed, the mechanical components were well hidden, so as not distract the conference participants.
