Boardroom - Every video conferencing installation is unique, and built-in custom installations of the type shown here require detailed advance planning to guarantee an exceptional result.
For this reason, GIS’ staff include a number of experienced engineers and architects to do the work. They begin with a thorough assessment of the client’s intended use for the system, his performance requirements, the physical the attributes of the proposed conference room, and of course the budget.
Each participant must both
see and hear the remote
participants, and vice versa.
This requires thoughtful placement of cameras, microphones, speakers and video monitors -- all of which are pre-planned prior to construction, including the routing of all cabling and electronic components.
Here, to minimize the space taken-up by the components, we installed two side-by-side
plasma screens. Video-electronic “rack” components were concealed in custom designed cabinetry.
A custom-designed wireless Crestron touch panel control system was installed for convenient table-top system operation. It allowed simple one-touch connectivity to other company video sites.
This display has also been modified to show the customer’s logo, and to allow standard touch-tone audio conferencing to sites not equipped with video equipment.
